What would you like to achieve with your horse?

Our camps are unique, as they focus on what you want to learn and develop. It could be getting out hacking or moving up a level eventing? Is it figuring out lateral work and understanding the meaning of “inside leg to outside hand”? Is it having control and communication with your horse on the ground or ridden?

Could it be jumping a clear round with confidence or having faith in your horse that you can control it in company? Will it be about improving your position in order to feel safe, or developing a balance and core to allow your horse to do his best?

With Gamston Wood camps

YOU choose the date
YOU chose who you want to attend with
YOU choose the length

The choices are all YOURS!

Non-residential children’s camps.

With only Rachel Ashworth BHS accredited Coach our Children’s camps are unique as you children attend with a group of their own siblings and friends of up to a total of five riders, minimum age of 5 years

Ponies arrive and are stabled on the first day and leave on the last, ensuring that your child undertakes all the care of their pony during the duration, under the supervision of Rachel.

Camps are booked on dates suitable to you, subject to availability and at an amount of days to suit you, from one to five days. Unfortunately, I can only include one weekend day.

Cost will include hay and bedding for your pony, but children will need to bring a packed lunch, drinks and an afternoon snack.

I had an absolutely brilliant time on Rachel’s, ‘big girls pony club camp’. We never stopped laughing and without realising it, we learnt a huge amount about flatwork, show jumping, jumping ditches, how to fit a saddle and what bit does what.

Rachel is extremely knowledgeable and pitches the sessions perfectly.
Can’t wait to go back in September.
