Coached Riding Camps at Gamston Wood
What would you like to achieve with your horse?
At Gamston Wood, our camps are unique because they focus upon what you want to learn and the skills you want to develop.
It could be about getting out hacking, or moving up a level eventing? Or is it to do with figuring out lateral work and understanding the meaning of “inside leg to outside hand”? Is it having control and communication with your horse on the ground or ridden?
Could it be jumping a clear round with confidence, or having faith in your horse that you can control it in company? Will it be about improving your position in order to feel safe, or developing a balance and core to allow your horse to do his best?
With Gamston Wood camps
YOU choose the date

The choices are all YOURS!
Non-residential children's camps.
With Rachel Ashworth BHS accredited Coach, our Children’s camps are unique as your children can attend with a group of their own siblings and friends, of up to a total of five riders, minimum age of 5 years.
Ponies arrive and are stabled on the first day and leave on the last, ensuring that your child undertakes all the care of their pony for the duration, under the supervision of Rachel.
Camps are booked on dates suitable to you, subject to availability and at an amount of days to suit you, from one to five days. Unfortunately, I can only include one weekend day.
Cost will include hay and bedding for your pony, but children will need to bring a packed lunch, drinks and an afternoon snack.
